The Brooklyn Nets hit the road on Tuesday to take on the Orlando Magic in what will be another game that might get out of hand. The Nets are 35-33 while the Magic are 18-51. Don’t let those records fool you as the Nets are very good when at full strength. They should be close to full strength tonight as both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving should be suiting up. Look closely for this game to be one that gets out of hand early. Take the Nets to cover the 9.5 point spread.

Boston Bruins at Chicago Blackhawks

The Boston Bruins travel to Chicago to take on the Blackhawks this evening as the Bruins look to try to climb toward a top seed. The Bruins are 36-18-5 so far this season while the Blackhawks have struggled and sit at 22-30-8 on the season. This is going to be a bit closer of a game than many think as the Blackhawks are winners of two of their last three. These teams did just meet and the Bruins came out on top, however. Boston has been playing well as of late but the Blackhawks have not been terrible on their home ice this season. I would look for the Blackhawks to give the Bruins a run. Take the Blackhawks +1.5 in this one.

Dallas Stars at Toronto Maple Leafs

The Dallas Stars travel across the border into Canada to take on the Toronto Maple Leafs in what might be the game of the night among all sports. The Stars are 32-22-3 this year while the Maple Leafs are 37-17-5 on the season. Look for this game to be very exciting with a lot of action on the ice. Both of these teams have lost their last two contests so getting back on track tonight will be huge for both teams. I look for the Stars to cover as the Maple Leafs just have not been good ATS. Take the Stars +1.5 on the puck line.

Anaheim Ducks at New York Rangers

The Anaheim Ducks are traveling across the country for a Tuesday evening showdown with the New York Rangers. The trip could not have come at a worse time as the Ducks are fading as they have lost four games in a row. With a long trip upcoming I don’t think things are going to get better in the short term for them. The Rangers had a quiet stretch and then exploded for seven goals in their last game. Look for the Rangers to be able to replicate that while the Ducks are kind of hurting themselves this year. Take the Rangers -1.5 in this one.
