It’s another great day for baseball betting! Here, we’re taking a look at the top five games on Monday’s schedule.

Chicago White Sox at Cleveland Guardians

Beginning at 3:10 PM PST is the game between the Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Guardians. The White Sox, currently 6-3, is coming off a 9-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays. To bounce back, they’ll need to take down Cleveland, who just lost three games in a row. On the mound for Chicago is the 1-0 Dallas Keuchel, who has thrown five strikeouts in five innings.

After losing all three games in their series against the Giants, morale is low for Cleveland. To build it back up, they need a dominant win over the White Sox tonight. However, with Triston McKenzie on the mound first, it could be a tough task. McKenzie is 0-1 this season but has seven strikeouts under his belt. Cleveland will need to get their batters going early.

San Francisco Giants at New York Mets

This could easily be the most entertaining game of the day. The San Francisco Giants, currently 7-2, face the 7-3 New York Mets today. Each of these teams has had a fast start to the season and the Giants have won five straight games. Brandon Belt leads the batters for San Francisco with an impressive .345 batting average. On the mound for San Francisco is the 1-0 Alex Cobb.

Cobb has thrown 10 strikeouts in just five innings pitched, as one of the Giants’ best pitchers. Facing Cobb tonight is the 2-0 Tylor Megill, who is one of the Mets’ best pitchers. This is going to be a pitching battle, where the first to make a mistake could be the one who loses. The Mets leading batter is Jeff McNeil who has a .344 batting average.

Los Angeles Angels at Houston Astros

Michael Lorenzen will get the start as the pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels tonight. You’ll still get to see the phenom Shohei Ohtani as well though. Ohtani leads the Angels in home runs with three this season. However, his batting average is currently at .227, which isn’t very good. He’ll face the right-handed pitcher, Luis Garcia of the Houston Astros, tonight.

The Astros have always prided themselves on batting, but it has been pretty lackluster this season. As a team, the Astros have a batting average of .208. Facing Lorenzen could be tough for the Astros, especially with their recent batting performances. The Astros lost two out of three games to the Mariners, one of which was an 11-1 loss.

Cincinnati Reds at San Diego Padres

The Cincinnati Reds are 2-8 and desperately looking to turn their season around. Although the year has just started, this isn’t the start that any team would want. On the mound today is Nick Lodolo, who is 0-1 with an ERA of 11.25. For the Reds to turn this season around the pitching needs to get better as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, the Reds are facing the 6-5 San Diego Padres, who have some of the best batters in MLB. Eric Hosmer leads the Padres batters with a batting average of .378. As a team, the Padres have a .228 batting average. When compared with the Reds team batting average of .180, you can see the difference between these teams. Take the Padres to win this one -175.

Atlanta Braves at Los Angeles Dodgers

Two former and recent World Series Champions will face off in the final game of the night. The Braves, 5-6 with a 2-2 record on the road, take on the Los Angeles Dodgers (7-2). Huascar Ynoa, 0-1 this season, will be the first pitcher on the mound for the Braves. However, the bigger story here is how will the Braves batters do against Clayton Kershaw.

Kershaw gets the nod for the Dodgers after throwing seven perfect innings in his first start. Through those seven innings, Kershaw threw 13 strikeouts and didn’t allow a single hit. Another reason to take the Dodgers here is how incredible their batting has been so far. As a team, they have a batting average of .270 and have scored 51 runs. They also haven’t lost in six games.
